2001 Vacqueyras, Domaine Saint
Henri
Domaine St Henri has been in the hands of the Saurel family
for five generations and Eric Saurel is at the forefront of biodynamic
viticulture in France. The Vacqueyras is made of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah and
the average age of the vines is in excess of 40 years resulting in very low
yields.
Tasting Note
Lovely ripe raspberry fruit nose. A
fruit bomb on the plate. Loads of ripe fruit. Big structure, long and intense.
