Monty's Red, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes
Wine
writer Monty Waldin rented 2.2 hectares of vines in the Roussillon from
vigneron Eric Laguerre and spent a year nuturing and working the vines through
to cropping and making the wine. All this was done following the biodynamic
principals that Monty has always espoused.
Mainly Carignan but also
alongside this were plantings of Grenache and Maccabeu, all of which were all
harvested together. A wine of true character.
