Meursault, Michel Lafarge
Michel Lafarge is a committed and
studious man who appears to have arrived at a near perfect formula. He believes
that the key to great wine is good quality, ripeness and cleanliness of the
fruit. Their vineyards are worked organically and is run very much by instinct
and respect for the terroir, with no sense of imposition. The wine is allowed
to speak for itself and is wonderfully fragrant, complex and
harmonious.
Tasting Note
Open, attractive, confectionery nose
of richness and elegance. There are no rough edges here at all. A delicious
wine.
