2004 Mas
de Longchamps, Vin de Pays des Bouches du Rhône
Fabrice
and André Benoit own 24 hectares of vineyards in the Vin de Pays des
Bouches du Rhône, which are planted with 60% grenache, 15% syrah, 10%
cabernet Sauvignon, 10% merlot and 5% cinsault. Stony soils give good drainage
for damper days whilst having the ability to store heat and give optimum
ripeness to the grapes in the summers.
Tasting Note
Quaffable,
cheerful wine with mellow fruits and rounded tannins. Not at all complicated,
just sheer drinking pleasure!
