2005 Granges de Mirabel Viognier, Vin de Pays de L'Ardèche, M Chapoutier - South West France
Facing south on volcanic hills at the foot of the Coiron plateau, the micro-climate is very favourable to the growth and ripening of Viognier grapes. This creates a good intensity of acacia and violet aromas and a roundness and freshness on the palate, characteristic of viognier from volcanic soils.
