Many Champagne
houses buy in the majority of their grapes on their sugar content alone -
little thought is given to the vineyard element. The house of Ardinat are extra
special because they own their own vineyards. This is important as they can
follow the vines and grapes development properly and really understand how
their wine is meant to be assembled. This results in stunning champagnes at a
realistic price.
Tasting Note
The Ardinats insist that this
smooth, fruity and friendly champagne should only be drunk with desserts but we
think it's much more versatile than that. Clean, light and with delicious
grapeyness.
