Brut, Carte d'Or, José Ardinat
Many Champagne houses
buy in the majority of their grapes on their sugar content alone - little
thought is given to the vineyard element. The house of Ardinat are extra
special because they own their own vineyards. This is important as they can
follow the vines and grapes development properly and really understand how
their wine is meant to be assembled. This results in stunning champagnes at a
realistic price.
Tasting Note
Classic style champagne with a
rich golden colour - full of fizz and zesty fruit with a hint of apples. Bottle
aged for around 15 months, it's dry, toasty and full flavoured.
