Larmandier Bernier 1er Cru Blanc de Blancs
Lamandier-Bernier
are one of the few champagne houses to practice biodynamic viticulture and
their champagnes clearly express their respective terroirs. Pierre Larmandier
is right at the forefront of the 'terroir' movement, and his champagnes earn
rave reviews.
Pierre Larmandier became the third generation of his
family to produce Champagne when he took over in 1988, aged twenty-five, and is
regarded as one of the more exciting of Champagne's younger generations of
growers with wines as direct, firm and generous as their maker.
Tasting Note
This Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay) has a
gorgeous nose, with a hint of brioche, and a silky, light palate which leaves a
long, fresh finish. High quality, extremely elegant Champagne, perfect with
seafood.
