  White Wines

2007 Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine Cuvée Classique, Bossard - Loire, France
Supremely good wine, this wine has a brilliant yellow colour and an intense nose of baked apples, lime and minerality. The palate is fresh and crisp with a lovely long length.
£9.40/bottle

2008 The Ruins Chardonnay/Viognier, Bon Cap - Robertson, South Africa
This white blend of 74% Chardonnay and 26% Viognier shows fresh citrus and limey flavours with peachy apricot undertones. These are complimented by the soft, fresh mouth feel that is long and lingering, finishing off as a well-balanced, multidimensional and complex wine without being too serious.
£10.20/bottle

2007 Bordeaux Blanc, Château Coursou - Bordeaux, France
This beautifully made Bordeaux Blanc Sec has a fresh aroma of ripe pears and plenty of zip in the flavour. Clean, well balanced and with good length, this is the perfect all-rounder, excellent in any company. Made from a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
£10.35/bottle

2007 Adobe Chardonnay, Emiliana Orgánicos - Chile
This Chardonnay is fresh and lively with plenty of apple, melon and pear fruits. Having not seen oak, it is very expressive and slightly lighter in style than most Chilean Chardonnays. Lovely.
£10.45/bottle

2007 Adobe Sauvignon Blanc, Emiliana Orgánico - Chile
Excellent Sauvignon Blanc to add to the Adobe range. Vibrant, refreshing, floral gooseberry fruits with a sprightly finish.

2005 Novas Winemaker's Selection Sauvignon Blanc, Emiliana Orgánico - Chile
From Casablanca Valley, this is an intense, fresh Sauvignon with characteristic citrus and floral aromas and hints of minerals more akin to New Zealand Sauvignons rather than Chilean. A gorgeous, expressive Sauvignon!

£11.45/bottle

2007 Pinot Bianco/Pinot Grigio IGT Delle Venezie, Mont'albano - Italy
Tasty, mid-intensity white with pear and red apple fruits and refreshing acidity. A stunning wine for the price.
£11.60/bottle

2005 Rioja Genoli, Ijalba - Spain
100% Viura. The name Genoli comes from the name of the yellow pigmentation used by painters a long time ago. Citrus and white flowers dominate the nose and palate. Very fresh and very good!

2008 Monty's Dry French White, Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes - France
This white is made from 100% low yielding Maccabeu, fermented in old oak barrels with some malolactic fermentation. Greengages and a broad middle palate make this ideal as an accompaniment to freshwater fish.

£12.99/bottle

2007 Riesling Kabinett Trocken, Stefan Sander - Rheinhessen, Germany
Made with grapes grown on 25 year old vines on slopes facing eastwards to the Rhine. The soil is chalky with good humus content giving the vines a good balance of nourishment and minerals. This award winning Kabinett is dry and fairly light with gorgeous tropical fruit, limey acidity and a very refreshing style
£12.99/bottle

2007 Trio Trocken, Stefan Sander - Germany
Made from Pinot Blanc, Muller-Thurgau and Kerner this wine is clean, well-structure, and dry but genuinely fruity.
£13.20/bottle

2004 Casa de Mouraz Branco, Dao - Portugal
This dry oak aged white is based on low-yielding malvasia fina teamed up with bical and cerceal. The fatness of fruit offers a stone-fruit intensity to contrast with layers of nuttiness and mineral notes.
£13.35/bottle

2006/7 Limney Horsmonden Dry White, Davenport Vineyards - England
Clean fruity/aromatic nose with hints of strawberries and summer flowers. The initial impression in the mouth is similar with some nice zesty grapefruit flavours and Gewurztraminer-like spice. The finish borders on bone dry and is slightly minerally.
£13.99/bottle

2008 Sauvignon Blanc, Battle of Bosworth - McLaren Vale, Australia
The inaugural Battle of Bosworth Sauvignon Blanc has cut grass, passionfruit and lime on the nose, flavours which follow through in the mouth, accompanied by fine, fresh acidity, good length and a super clean finish.
£14.50/bottle

2006 Granges de Mirabel Viognier, Vin de Pays de L'Ardèche, M Chapoutier - South West France
Facing south on volcanic hills at the foot of the Coiron plateau, the micro-climate is very favourable to the growth and ripening of Viognier grapes. This creates a good intensity of acacia and violet aromas and a roundness and freshness on the palate, characteristic of viognier from volcanic soils.
